VaultDesk uses three tiers.
Tier A
Published fees. Setup, annual custodian, annual storage, named custodian, named depository, minimum. Dated. If two live first-party pages disagree, status = conflict and both figures stay visible.
Tier B
Disclosure score, 0–4, one point each:
- Public retail prices
- Company-specific premium on a named bullion SKU
- Named buyback formula
- Public IRA fee schedule
Half-credits stay in notes. They do not add 0.5 to the integer.
Tier C
Scenario math, separate page. Frozen comparison SKU: 1 oz American Gold Eagle, bullion strike, random year. Reader toggles account size $25k / $50k / $100k and premium band 5% or 12%. Bands are assumptions, not quotes. Page header: “These premiums are not from the companies. They exist so you can see how a spread swamps account fees.”
